| Nicholas Tentas, known for his cutting edge design ability, decided at
a young age designing jewelry was his true passion. In pursuit of his dreams
16-year-old Nicholas accepted an apprentiship in Manhattan, as he continued
gathering knowledge mastering all phases of the industry. His hard work
awarded him with a position at Tiffany & Co., where he quickly advanced
his position to hand crafting prototypes and custom design work.
This led to close working relationships with Paloma Picasso, Elsa Perretti,
and Angela Cummings. Simultaneously Nicholas had numerous fine boutiques
carrying his design lines. Aggressively pursuing his custom designs,
he merged with Maripol, Madonna’s stylist, helping trademark the
material girl, and he graced the pages of Andy Warhol. Honored by a call
from Harry Winstons, Nicholas accepted a position, enabling him to fabricate
multi-million dollar platinum and diamond suites.
With his new found world-wide notoriety he discovered and relocated
to Naples, Fl. His spectacular one-of-a-kind pieces eventually earned
him national and international design awards. Taking his place in the
Naples community as a Philanthropic leader, Nicholas currently runs his
gallery of 15 years, adorning the rich and famous where clients travel
worldwide to consult with him. |
